Getting to Laxgalts'ap is pretty straightforward. If you're coming from the airport

• turn left from the airport entrance road
• turn left at the four way stop
• drive thru Terrace on Highway 16 west (heading towards Prince Rupert);
• turn right onto Highway 113 (the Nisga'a Highway) just past Canadian Tire;
• take a left after about 90 kilometers at the sign heading to Ginglox;
• stay on the highway until you reach Laxgalts'ap (about 40 minutes);
• drive thru Laxgalts'ap and after 1 km you'll see the museum on your right.

There is a convenience store/gas bar in New Aiyansh (Gitlaxt'aamiks).

The highway to Laxgalts'ap travels through valleys and the lava beds and beside rivers. It's a beautiful drive. There are many twists and turns and several single lane bridges. Take care.
